Milan International Soccer Academy (MISA) Unveils New Admiral Kits Inspired by AC Milan

May 13, 2025

Milan International Soccer Academy (MISA) has a rich history in developing soccer talent and fostering community engagement. From its origins as the Riverside Soccer Devils in 1960 to its rebranding as Riverside FC in 2002, followed by Milan SC in 2005, the organization has evolved through several name changes while remaining steadfast in its mission. Since May 2022, the academy has proudly operated under its current name, Milan International Soccer Academy (MISA)

As MISA celebrates its 65th year in 2025, it continues its commitment to developing players for high school varsity teams, college soccer, and internationally recognized programs such as the Empoli FC International ID Program, the US Club Soccer ID2 Program, and the US Olympic Development Program (ODP)

A Visionary Leader: Giorgio Cerboni

Giorgio Cerboni, President and CEO of MISA, brings a wealth of expertise to the academy. With a USC Premier “A” Coaching License, certifications as a fitness specialist, and a USAF Engineering Instructor background, Cerboni is also a Black Belt Taekwondo Instructor. Born in Italy, Cerboni's leadership reflects his deep connection to both the soccer world and his mission to address important social issues, including childhood obesity, Type II Diabetes, proper nutrition, and combating drugs, alcohol, and tobacco.

MISA’s New Admiral Kits: A Tribute to AC Milan

Inspired by Giorgio Cerboni’s Italian heritage and his respect for the legacy of AC Milan, MISA has collaborated with Admiral Sportswear to design new team kits that pay homage to the iconic Italian club. With these kits, MISA not only celebrates its long-standing tradition but also aligns itself with the values that AC Milan has upheld for over a century.

The Home Kit

The new Home Kit features a classic ‘Rossoneri’ design with bold red and black stripes, accented with gold details in both the Admiral and MISA logos. This striking look is a nod to AC Milan’s celebrated history and is particularly significant as it marks the 125th anniversary of AC Milan and MISA’s 65th anniversary in 2025.

Designed with the same principles that have guided AC Milan’s identity, this kit stands as a symbol of MISA’s commitment to both soccer excellence and social change. MISA’s dedication to community and positive social impact is deeply woven into the fabric of the club’s identity, much like AC Milan’s legacy as a global force for good both on and off the field.

The Home Kit was crafted using Admiral's ID Uniform Builder, an innovative tool that allowed MISA to create custom, on-demand team apparel with ease. The result is high-quality, made-to-order merchandise that perfectly represents the academy’s vision.

The Away Kit

MISA’s Away Kit stays true to tradition with a white base, recalling the iconic away jersey first worn by AC Milan in 1910. Known as “The Lucky One” due to its association with AC Milan’s victorious record in European finals, this jersey features a tonal print and an off-center stripe in the club's signature red and black colors. The word MISA is emblazoned across the chest, further emphasizing the academy’s identity.

As with the Home Kit, the Away Kit is available in both short-sleeve and long-sleeve versions, and is offered in men’s and women’s cuts, as well as complementary jackets, jerseys, shirts, and shorts. Teams will wear the jerseys with only numbers on the back, keeping the design clean and classic.

Sustainable Production and Innovation

MISA’s collaboration with Admiral also allows for greater control over production. By owning the manufacturing process, Admiral ensures more efficient timelines, eliminating concerns over minimum quantities, discontinued styles, and backorders. This direct control ensures that MISA can rely on timely delivery and top-quality apparel without delays.

In addition to quality and efficiency, Admiral’s commitment to sustainability is evident in the production of MISA’s new kits. With single-unit production, laser-cut patterns, and the use of sustainable fabrics, inks, paper, and packaging, the collaboration minimizes waste and ensures environmentally responsible manufacturing practices.
